Your song, in a world no budget could build.
Four sets, eight looks, a crocodile in a tuxedo and a tiger in the ring. Every frame of Hit Your Mark is generated, and every sung line lands on the beat.
Hit Your Mark · Kairo & SélaA studio original, directed by Gabriel Brien
One set for each part of the song.

Spectacle is cheap now. Timing is the craft.
Anyone can generate a crocodile in a tuxedo. What still makes a music video is a singer who sings the song, on the beat, from the first line to the last.
- 01
Every line lands on the beat.
We map the song to the fraction of a second before generating anything, so mouths open when the voice starts and close when it stops.
- 02
Worlds built for one song.
An upside-down studio, a marble pool at night, a big top and a wall of TVs. No set builder, no animal handler, no crane rental.
- 03
A new look for every set.
Each artist changes outfit at every set, and each look is approved on a reference sheet before the first shot, so the face never drifts.
Three sung moments per verse and per chorus: beginning, middle, end. Five seconds maximum, in close-up. The story runs in between.
How we made it.
No camera, no actors, no set. Six steps took Hit Your Mark from an idea to an approved fourth version.
- 01
A concept about the shoot
The song is about hitting your mark, like an actor on set. So the video is about the shoot itself: it opens inside a photographer's lens and ends on the director saying "Cut."
- 02
Four sets, one per part of the song
An upside-down studio, a pool guarded by a crocodile and a shark, a circus, and a room built out of old TVs.
- 03
Reference sheets before the first shot
Four looks each for Kairo and Séla, plus the photographer, the TV-head man and the director's cameo. Every sheet approved before anything is generated.
- 04
Map the song
Every line, who sings it and when it starts, mapped before the first shot. Lip sync lives or dies on that map.
- 05
The lip-sync rule
Three sung moments per section, five seconds max, face big from the first frame, mouth closed until the voice starts. The wild camera stays on the story shots.
- 06
Review shot by shot
Four versions, each with a page listing every shot, its timecode and a comment box. Version four was approved as is. Then the grade, 35mm grain and titles.
How we made it, in 2 minutes. Told by Gabriel's digital twin.
Every look, locked before the first shot.
